prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases. Fred Hutch’s pioneering work in bone marrow transplantation led to the development of immunotherapy, which harnesses the power of the immune system to treat cancer. An independent, nonprofit research institute based in Seattle, Fred Hutch houses the nation’s first cancer prevention research program, as well as the clinical coordinating center of the Women’s Health Initiative and the international headquarters of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network. Careers Start Here. A successful candidate will perform accounts payable responsibilities, ensuring that all accounts payable documents are received, properly coded, authorized, and entered for payment  This is a full-time temporary position, ending no later than 11/30/2020. Responsibilities Managing accounts payable using Hyland AnyDoc and OnBase software, and other programs Analyzing workflow processes Reconcile vendor statements to company records, investigating discrepancies and initiating corrections within department guidelines as necessary Communicate with end users by phone and/or email to assist with any payment issues Communicate with vendors by phone and/or email to reconcile accounts as well as educate domestic vendors regarding Fred Hutch tax status Assist in check & ACH payment audit prior to release of payment Review taxability of domestic transactions High volume invoice processing Assist with month end close Maintain confidentiality of organizational information Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, college level accounting classes or Accounting degree preferred At least 3 years of experience in accounting or...
